Francis STOUT & wife Ann STOUT
 
 Francis Stout b. 1781 d. 1859 & wife Ann Stout b. 1782 d. 1850. Parents of Aaron, Henry, Lemi, Levi, John Noblett, Carolyn, William Lemuel, and Samuel.  First Stout family in Weakley County, buried on land grand fram 3/4 mile S.E. of cemetery.  Meridian cemetery.

Note: Another child of Francis and Ann Stout - Charles Stout -  was born in Orange Co., NC in 1823 or 1824. He lived in Tennessee during the time he was married to Mary Elizabeth Capps. After her death he married Eliza Jane Walker in Tennessee. Charles and Eliza eventually settled in Stoddard Co., Mo. as they are listed in the 1880 census of that county. They are also listed in the 1900 census of Titus Co., Tx. Charles must have died before 1910 because there are no other records of him....... Kathy

Note: -
William Lemuel was GRANDSON of Francis, son of John Noblett.

The Lemi listed was Lemuel.  There is also a marker for Francis and Ann Stout at their farm behind the Meridian Church Cemetery.

CHARLES STOUT.  He enlisted in Company "H" of the 12th Tennessee Infantry Regiment in Jackson on 28 May 1861. He was present until the regiment was consolidated with the 22nd Tennessee Infantry Regiment in June of 1862. His records pick up with the 22nd, and he was present until January/February 1864 when he was reported "Dropped From Roll As Deserter Since Last Muster.......Joe Stout
