to G.P. CAMPBELL
Registered September 10th, 10 oíclock a.m.
I E. J. SHANNON have this day bargained and sold and do hereby transfer and convey to G. P. CAMPGELL and his heirs forever for the consideration of Seven Hundred and Fifty dollars to me paid a tract of land in the State of Tennessee, Weakley County and district No. 9 containing by estimation fifty acres be the same more or less and bounded as follows: Beginning at a stake with gum and two poplar pointers Southwest corner to the two hundred acres joining purchase from J. G. and J. L. THOMISON thence West 85 poles to a stake with 3 beach pointers thence North 97 6/600 poles to a stake with two beach one sweeet gum oak pointers thence South 97 6/600 poles to the beginning. To have and to hold the same to the said G. P. CAMPBELL his heirs and assigns forever. I do covenant with the said G. P. CAMPBELL and that I am lawfully seized of said land, have a good right to convey it and that the same is unencumbered. I do further covenant and bind myself my heirs and representitives to warrant and forever defend the title to the said land and every part thereof to the said G. P. CAMPBELL his heirs and assignees against the claim or claims of all persons whatever.
