THOMPSON, Louish B., Serial number 1,334,981W, Co. A, 39 MG BN and Co. B, 114 MG BN, was born 6 Jan, 1890, in Wayne County, Tennessee, son of John Robert THOMPSON and Rachel WALKER (see biography of William Henry THOMPSON for additional information). He entered the United States Army on 21 Sep 1917, and was stationed at Capt Sevier, South Carolina. He served his country for sixteen months and was honorably discharged on 30 Jan 1919. He was a farmer by occupation and was married on 4 Aug 1917 to Ena HOWELL, born 22 Oct 1896, d. 5 Feb 1965, dau. Of Wade and Haret Tennie RILEY HOWELL. They were the parents of three children: Elbert THOMPSON of Waynesboro; Jessie Mae TATUM of Waynesboro; and Eunis THOMPSON of Savannah, Tennessee. Louish B. THOMPSON died 20 Aug 1975 at the age of 85 and is buried at the Walker Cemetery on Eagle Creek in Wayne County, Tennessee.
