Pigg, Richard Alexander

PIGG, Richard Alexander, service as Private, Battery F, 317th Field Artillery, National Army, was drafted on 26 April 1918 in Waynesboro, Tennessee. He was a native of Perry Co., TN and was born 1 March 1891, son of John C. and Feva Caline PIGG. He is described as 6’1″ tall with blue eyes, light hair and fair complexion and by occupation a farmer. He was discharged at Camp Jackson, South Carolina on 13 July 1918. He died 16 April 1955 and is buried at Prater’s Chapel Cemetery, Wayne Co., Tennessee. No other information available.
