MURPHY, Almond Boyd “Toney”,  born Jan. 1897 and died 20 October 1933, son of Sylvester Murphy and Cansada Melvina Rideout. He was born and died in Wayne County. He was married on 12 March 1932 in Wayne County to Frankie Brewer. They had only one child, Beatrice, who was born in 1933. This is the only picture she has of her father. She says he served in World War I and his age is right for it.
