DeKalb Rites For Horace Barnes, 72 William Horace Barnes, 72, father of Commander Roscoe Barnes of the VFW post, died at his home in Riverside community Monday afternoon at 4:45 o’clock, following an illness of four years. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Baptist Church of Christ at Jefferson, DeKalb county, with Rayton Cope and Felix Cantrell officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
