DeKalb Citizen’s Rites Thursday Funeral services for H.L. Barnes, age 10, were conducted at the residence on Nashville highway, near Smithville, Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock. John W. High officiated and burial was in Bonham cemetery. The child died at the home of the parents, T.O. and Verona Barnes, Wednesday evening at 11 o’clock. He had been ill three weeks.
