Minister’s Father Dies In DeKalb Columbus W. Adkins, 81, died at his home in Dowelltown, DeKalb county, Wednesday of last week, following a lingering illness. He was the father of Rev. H.C. Adkins, Baptist mission worker and minister of McMinnville. Funeral services were held at Dowelltown Thursday and burial was in Whorton Springs cemetery.
