Warren County native Fred C. Bell, 74, died Jan. 5 at V.A. Hospital in Nashville after an extended illness. A retired maintenance employee of Purity Dairies and a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, he was the son of Millie and Marie Muncey Bell. He is survived by his wife, Helen Raymond Bell of Nashville; one daughter, Kathy Bell Barnes of Nashville; one son, Jimmy Turner of McMinnville; two grandsons, Stacy Turner of Rock Island and Jeremy Harrison of Murfreesboro; one granddaughter, Whitney Barnes of Nashville; one brother, Hoyt Bell of Springfield; and three sisters, Gladys Robinson of Springfield, Betty Witty of McMinnville, and Mary Ellen Reeves of Little Rock, Ark. Services will be held at 2 p.m. today at High’s Chapel with Dean Hahn officiating. Burial will follow at Bascom Cemetery. High Funeral Home is in charge of arrangement.
