Mrs. Jo Alma Anderson, widowed resident of 107 Walnut Street, McMinnville, succumbed to a lingering illness at Woodbury Hospital at 6:45 a.m. Wednesday. A native of Coffee County, she was the widow of Luther Anderson who proceeded her in death in 1945. Mrs. Anderson was a member of the Church of Christ and a daughter of the late Jay and Ann Elizabeth Burroughs Lusk, both of Coffee County. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Grady Jones and Mrs. Ruth Doak, both of McMinnville, four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at High’s Chapel at 2 p.m. Friday by brother Rufe Higgins, burial following in Riverside cemetery. High’s Inc. was in charge of arrangements.
