Funeral Services Today For Mrs. Ellen Barbee                

Mrs. Ellen Barbee, age 76, died Wednesday night at the residence of her son John Barbee in McMinnville after an illness of five months. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. this afternoon at High’s Chapel with John W. High officiating. Burial well be in the Waterton cemetery in Poplar Grove. Daughter of L. H. Marlowe and Nancy Marler, she was born July 24, 1879 in Wilson County, and on May 12, 1898 she married John W. Barbee who preceded her in death  on February 11, 1929. Surviving are one son, John Barbee of McMinnville; two daughters, Mrs. C.C. Golden, Elora, Tenn., and Mrs. Harold Steadman of Key West, Fla., eight grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
