Death Claims Luther Anderson
Luther Nathaniel Anderson, 67, died of a heart attack about 10:30 o’clock Tuesday morning. He had started from his home on 106 Cedar Street to a stock sale and became suddenly ill. He went to the home of a Mr. Capshaw nearby and asked if he might lay down for a few minutes that he was ill. He died before reaching the bed. Death was attributed to a heart attack. Mr. Anderson was born in Coffee county August 23,1877 and was the son of Nathaniel Anderson and Sallie Horton Anderson. He resided in McMinnville for a number of years and was a foreman at the plant of the McMinnville Manufacturing company here. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Joe Lusk Anderson; a son, Homer Anderson; and two daughters, Mrs. Jack Doak and Mrs. Bethel Jones, all of McMinnville. The funeral was held from the chapel of the John W. High Funeral Home at 2 o’clock yesterday afternoon. The services were conducted by the Rev. J. B. Spurlock, pastor of the First Methodist church. Burial was in the Hillsboro Cem. Coffee county. Arrangements by the High Funeral Co.
