Met at Liberty Church Saturday before the second Lords day in January, 1866. After singing and prayer by Br. Samuel Griffin, the church sat in conference. Then called for the unfinished business. Then Br. E. E. Colson and Br. Robert George came and made peace with them selves. Then the church called for new business then Br. Robert George laid in a charge of dancing against Susan McCoy, John McCoy, T. Vick , Riggs Griffin, Montertevil Morgan, Nathan Wallace and George Cherry . On motion the charge was laid over until next church meeting by appointing the church members that was present to site them to attend the next church meeting then dismissed in order.

Came forward ..?..Powers and joined by experience. Then called for the business of the church then taken up the case of Susan McCoy, John McCoy, T. Robert George made a motion that a committee would settle all of the charges that came before the church if they could before reporting in the church. If such charges could not be settled, it might be brought before the church then dismissed in order.

Called for references, there being none, called for mew (sic) business. Then John H. Morgan brought in a charge against Enos H. F. Morgan for swearing. Then the deacons were appointed to site the brother to attend the next church meeting then dismissed in order.

The committee made their report Br. Joseph Wallace stated that he had talked to the brother and the brother stated that he had sinned and doesn't feel that God had forgiven him and he wished his name erased from the church book. Then elected delegates to the next association. Then opened the doors to the church for the reception of members then E. E. Colson came forward and joined by letter. Then taken up the missionary board--9 against 2-then agreed that we send three dollars for the purpose of paying for the minutes. Then Br. Robert George gave up the pastorial (sic) chair of the church and called for a letter. It was granted then Y. W. Cherry called for a letter for himself and wife. It was granted. Then Br. Perry McCoy called for a letter for himself and wife-it being granted. Dismissed in peace.

Wednesday, George Taylor joined by experience, Ella Hinson by experience, James Taylor and Francis Taylor by experience, Samuel Griffin and Artaista Vick by experience, Eliza Pugh and Margaret Mitchell by experience, Mary Manning and Clarinda Walker by experience, Clista Page by experience, Avarilla Wallace and Martha Ross and Maniza Vick , Montild Steward joined by reccomendation (sic) and was received in full fellowship with the church. Then dismissed until Saturday morning at 10:00.

Went into an election of pastor for the church for the remainder of the present year. After ballot, Br. A. G. Cherry received the highest number of votes. He was declared duly elected then appointed a committee consisting of I. W. Lewis, Joseph Wallace and J. H. Morgan to visit Sister Frances Kernell and Sister Winnie Legate to see where they wish to submit to the ordanience (sic) of baptism or not, then appointed R. Jackson, J. H. Morgan to site them to attend and David Williams and Enos H. F. Morgan to attend next church meeting to answer to the charge of swearing and Josephine Williams for dancing. Then taken under consideration the name of J. G. Feltner and Sarah Feltner and Lucinda Morgan and Francis Wallace for joining other denominations without a letter. On motion, agreed to erase their name from the book for contempt of the church and Jane Stewart for the same. Dismissed in order.

After exhortation by William Ward , the church proceeded to business, the reference being laid over until the next church meeting. Went into the election of the delegates to the association. On balloting, H. Jackson, W. Brandon and Robert Hinson received the highest number of votes and was declared the delegates. Then appointed John H. Morgan to write the church letter and bring it for reception to our next church meeting. Then agreed we continue the missionary board, then agreed we appoint a steward for the church whose duty it shall be to keep the house in order, to buy picture and glass for the use of the house and candles for all denominations to use when preaching and fasten the base to the stand with lock and key and report the expense to the church. The steward then took up a collection for the church and received 30c and dismissed in peace.

Colson by his request then erased Martha Ross name from church book by her request then dismissed in peace.

Lewis and J. H. Morgan (probably to go see Mary Wallace ). Then dismissed Br. Joseph Vick and Sister Artamisa Vick by letter then dismissed in peace and harmony.

Met at Liberty Church Saturday before the second Lord's day in May, 1868. After singing and prayer by Br. William Ward , the church proceeded to business. Reference taken up, Br. A. G. Cherry and Sister Polly (Mary) Wallace being present. Sister Wallace stated that she had not sworn - that he had forged his father's will. Br. Cherry then ask (sic) her pardon for laying in a charge against her without first conversing with her. It was granted. He also ask (sic) pardon of the church, it was granted. Then agreeded (sic) to take up a collection for the benefit of Br. Ward at our next church meeting then dismissed in peace.

Josiah Wallace, Br. John Morgan and Br. John Vick was elected as delegates to represent us in the next association to meet on Saturday before the first Sunday in October. Next on motion, Br. H. Jackson was appointed to prepare a letter to read on Monday next and to receive or reject the letter and contributions to be $3.00. Br. Emlis Cherry and wife called for a letter. On motion made and seconed (sic) the same was granted by order of the church. Br. John Vick called for a letter and on motion the same was granted by order of the church. Br. A. G. Cherry and wife called for letter and by motion the same was granted by order of the church. Then an invitation was given for the reception of members. Then came forward E. E. Colison and was received in full fellowship. Then on motion made and second the conference was dismissed in peace and harmony. J. Jackson , pro tem clerk

The (sic) appointed a committee to see Br. Henry Legate and wife for non-attendance. Br. W. G. Morgan was appointed to see them. Then taken under consideration Br. Samuel Griffin and on motion his name was erased from the church book. Then taken under consideration Sister Clarinda Walker and appointed Sister Sarah Wallace as a committee to see her and report if she intended to submit to the ordinance of baptism or not. Then taken under consideration Sister Calista Newberry to see if she intends to submit to the ordinance of baptism or not. ......................Sister............?............on motion her name be erased from the church book. William Free to the church to be licensed to preach the gospel and to exercise his gift which on motion was licensed by unanimous vote. Then on motion went into an election for delegates to the association. On ballot Br. W. Brandon, Wm Free and Guy Jackson was found to be chosen. Then agreed to hold a protractive meeting on Saturday before the second Lords day in Sept. Then came forward Enos H. F. Morgan and was restored, then dismissed in peace.

Taken under consideration the names of the following brothers and sisters-- Wesley Lewis, John Taylor, Robert Hinson, George Taylor, Robert Vick, Mary A. Lewis, Sarah Hinson, Ella Hinson, and ManizaVick and dismissed then (sic) from church for joining other churches without a letter. Also dismissed Jessie Brewer by request, also James Kelly, Martha Manning, Polly Kelly for removal. Br. W. G. Morgan laid in a charge against Avrilla Wallace for unchristian conduct, then appointed sister Penny Hutchinson and Sister Cindy Jackson to see the sister and site her to attend the next church meeting. Then went into electon for pastor. On ballot Br. E. E. Colison was duly elected pastor for the ensuing year. Then went into election for delegates for the association. On ballot Br. W. G. Morgan, Binkley Jackson and John H. Morgan were elected. Then Sister Cindy Jackson called for a letter which was granted, then ordered the clerk to write the letter to the association then dismissed in peace.
