Jonathan Kemp
Jonathan Kemp was the son of Burrell and Elizabeth Rowland Kemp. He was born April 10, 1827
and died June 1896. He married Lucy Payne, daughter of Benjamin Payne and Caron Cornwell in
1850. Lucy was born 2-22-1828. After her death in 1880, he married Matilda Knight in 1881.
She was known as Aunt Tillie and she died at the age of 105 in 1929.
The children of Jonathan and Lucy Kemp were:
James Kemp, Louisa Kemp, Ben Kemp, Van Kemp, Bettie Kemp, Haywood Kemp,
Robert Kemp, Tennessee Kemp, Jennie Kemp, Lee Kemp and Howard Kemp.
