Campside Murfreesboro, March 5, 1863
I am now (?) Have set down to rite you a feiew lines mi health is not as god as has bin but I am stil ??? lying short (?) theas lines and find you an children all wel I think of you very of in ?????? you think of me I no you it out some money I fin(?) money for you but I dont see no chances to send it. I will send you some as son as I can I want you to be content i no yor condition is bad I caint help it now i think it cant be long til times get beter I didnt you to this and sta their and do the best you can til the children handy for me tel them not to for git but let the late ? I will send it ???? out the first time git ??? I want to no the ??? of the body? of is in inded I want to rite to Robert Thornton (?) I have for got ???? of is. tell mis Snow that sam ? boy ? got thro safe it ??? I want you to rite in your letter al about your condition an tel me how you air gitin alonly.
