Roots of Roane Web Site Archive

This section of the Roane County site is a recreation of the personal Web site created by the late Pat Roberts MacDonald, an Oliver Springs native who carried on the dissemination of historical information compiled by her father, Snyder E. Roberts, the prodigious Oliver Springs historian.  The site is no longer “live” on the Internet; TNGenWeb wants to ensure Pat’s work remains available for future researchers.  No copyright infringement is intended.

Pat subtitled her site “Genealogy and history in early Roane County, TN.”  She passed away in 2010.
