A Prominent Attorney of Kingston.
The subject of this sketch was born of humble parentage on a farm in Roane county. Educated himself, graduating at Friendsville academy, working his way as janitor. He then taught school, and was afterwards a student of the University of Tennessee. Was next principal of a high school in Alabama, returning later and studying law under Judge Jno. J. Blair. He at once formed a co-partnership at Kingston with Col. Sam Epps Young and since that time Mr. Breazeale has been seen in most all important cases in the Roane County courts, his skill and ability being wonderfull [sic]. A staunch republican, always carries his point, a fine organizer, and is now chairman of the county republican committee and is a member of the Second congressional republican committee.

Seventh District Representative Dies At Hospital
State Senator Sam A. Breazeale, 62, of Harriman, died yesterday afternoon at Knoxville General hospital.
He had been in failing health for several months. Senator Breazeale was a prominent lawyer of Harriman, as well as a representative of the Seventh senatorial district in the General Assembly. He was serving his third term in the legislature.
The remains were removed to Mann mortuary, whence they will be taken to the home at Harriman Friday morning. Funeral services will be conducted from the Christian church of Harriman Sunday at 2 p.m. The Rev. R. M. Bell will officiate. Interment will follow in Willard Park cemetery.
Surviving Senator Breazeale are his widow, Mrs. Lou Ralston Breazeale; his mother, Mrs. T. B. Breazeale, of Knoxville; four sisters, Mrs. R. S. Wilkerson, Martel. Tenn.; Mrs. C. H. Henderson; Spokane, Wash., Mrs. T. H. Bush, Knoxville, and Mrs W. M. Wilkerson, Concord, Tenn.
Senator Breazeale was educated in the schools of Roane and Loudon counties, and later graduated from the law department, University of Tennessee. During his career in public service, Senator Breazeale was a supporter of the good roads system in the state, and was a staunch friend of the University of Tennessee.
