A Sad Bereavement. Sudden death of a young son of Mr. and Mrs. I. W. Holt
The many friends of Mr. and Mrs. I. W. Holt, of this city, will deeply regret to learn of a sad affliction which have overshadowed their happy home with gloom and tears. Shortly after noon on Wednesday, their little son, Robert, three years of age, was attached with spasms, and in a few minutes his innocent soul was wafted to the God who gave it. The child had been in his usual good health up to the moment of the fatal attack which crushed the young life. Robert was an exceedingly brilliant child, the idol of his loving parents’ affection and a favorite with the acquaintances of the family. It is a sad blow to the bereaved parents, and they have heartfelt sympathy of the entire community.
The funeral was held yesterday. Rev. Mr. Alexander conducted the services, after which all that was mortal of a little household gem of purity and love was laid to rest in the city cemetery.
