J. F. Campbell Dies at a Ripe Old Age
J. F. Campbell aged nearly 86 years, died at 3 o’clock Thursday morning at the home of his son-in-law, G. S. Peavyhouse, several miles north of Dayton. Death was caused by infirmities of age. He had made his home in the Peavyhouse family for the last twelve years. The body was taken in Coulter’s hearse to Jamestown for burial in the family cemetery there. Mr. Campbell is survived by nine sons and daughters and by a large number of grandchildren.
