From Rick Robinson, July 2, 1999: My Great Grandfather Quinton is the Mr. Quinton in the 1926 Confederate reunion picture on the Obion County web page. He is James Daniel Quinton and some of his descendants still live in Obion County. My Grandmother was Sally McDora Quinton Robinson ca. 1890-1975.
Jane Powell (first county-coordinator for Obion TNGenWeb) is the great-granddaughter of Tom Kersey/David Thomas Jefferson Kersey. His wife was Clarinda H. Calhoun.
Wonderful picture! I am looking for a picture or any information on BURTON STOVALL. He was a state senator ( president of the TN senate and authored the articles of secession for TN in 1861) from Obion County. I am his great-great granddaughter. Thank you.
