Your letter at hand glad to hear you all but sorrow to hear of my Dear old Mother death
but the Lord help us to

What is the Resion You all dont Writ to Me offton Hiram (brother, Hiram T. Kersey) Wrot to us before went to see You all and since then I have never got one card and We ancered it and heared from him eny more I got Letters a While from Nancy (sister, Nancy J Kersey Harmon) but she has quit Writing We have Wrot to you all ever time We Got a Letter & more too.
Puss (Clarinda H. Calhoun Kersey) Dear Sister I Would be so glad see You all. I no you was good to our old Mother—
