Central Community, Civil District No 7, on old Mattox-Olive farm, straddles the Rives-Mt Pelia Road (State Route 216).

The Mattox-Olive farm is located 2.5 miles W of Mt Pelia toward Rives.

Mt Pelia is on the Obion-Weakly County border.

The farm’s eastern boundary is at the intersection of Pruitt Road.

The cemetery is on the south side of SR 216 near the Pruitt Road intersection in the middle of the field about 300-400 yards from the road, clearly visible from road and marked by several old cedar trees.

The site has at least two graves and maybe several more.

It occupies less than 1/4 acre.

(… one clearly visible headstone in all the underbrush that definitely had the name Jackson written on it, and if memory serves me correctly, John Jackson. The dates on the stone I failed to record, but I do remember it was in the 1800s.)
