A post office and small place in Obion County, 8 miles from Troy and 160 west of Nashville. Ship to Union City, on the NC&StL Railway. It has a steam saw mill, general store, Christian and Presbyterian churches and a district school, and exports hogs, cotton and produce. Mail once a week. V. H. Caldwell, postmaster.
