EDGAR.
The post office at McConnell’s Station on the N. O., St.L. & C. Railroad (?) in the northeast corner of Obion County, 20 miles from Troy, the seat of justice, and 156 west of Nashville. This place was settled in 1873, and contains only 2 or 3 families. It has a flouring mill run by water, the only industry here at present. Wheat, corn, tobacco and flour are exported. Mail daily. T. N. Pate, postmaster.
