Crockett Station.
A post office in the Crittenden Grove district, Obion County, and a station on the M. & O. Railroad, 12 miles from Troy, the county town, and 164 west of Nashville. It was settled in 1848 and has a population of about 50 in the vicinity, a Cumberland Presbyterian Church and a public school. Cotton, corn and tobacco are the chief shipments. Mail, daily. S. F. Howard, postmaster.
