Dear Cousin:
Our reunion is August 24, 1928, at Bluebank on Reelfoot Lake. This lake alone is worth a trip to see it. It was formed by the 1811- 12 earthquake. However, we are so anxious to meet you. While may of your kin are much older than you yet you alone are the representative of the second generation from John and Martha Calhoun.
I have written Cousin John at Glenora. I hope both will come. I hope both of you will com. My son at Alexandria will come through in his car. He used to drive from Monroe to Memphis in ten hours and Memphis is only 113 miles from my home. Write every relative you can and see if there is a goodly number of Louisiana and Arkansas Calhouns here. Make my home your home. Come to have a good time.
Yours lovingly,
Cousin Will Newton
