Alva M. Walker – b 1-26-1921 in Oakdale, Tn. d 4-6-2000
Son of Milton Joseph Walker and Evalena Johnson Walker of Oakdale. He served in the 159th Infantry Regiment in the Army during World War 11 in the Aleutian Islands(Asiatic Pacific Theater). My dad was a very patriotic american. He flew his flag proudly every day not only for special occasions. Clarence Edward Barnes and James Lloyd Walker were his nephews.
Grandson of Edmond Harvey and Nancy Voiles Walker
and John B. & Lillian Forrester Johnson.
He married Charlene Rose Ooten July 5, 1947.
He was a very special husband, father, grandfather and friend to all.
