Graduated in law, 1911, from Cumberland University, Lebanon, Wilson County. Married but name of wife, date and place of marriage not found; one son – Lawrence M., Jr. Practiced law at Clarksville, Montgomery, to 1922; moved then to Erin, Houston County, to continue legal practice; was living in Pine Bluff, AR, in 1945. Managed senatorial campaign of US Senator Kenneth D. McKellar, 1916, in Montgomery County. In World War I, served as chairman of Committee on Public Information for county. Member Methodist Episcopal Church; Free and Accepted Masons; Knights of Pythias. Not determined whether he is still alive (1963).
