Married Dec 18, 1889, to Annie Mimms, daughter of George D. and Sallie (Wisdom) Mimms; children – Sallie B. and Dan Thomas, Jr. Engaged in farming at Hampton Station, Montgomery County, for thirty-three years. Member Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Died in home in Montgomery County Oct 2, 1924; buried in family graveyard.
