Isaac McAfee’s Will (1841)
I Isaac McAfee do make and publish this my last will and testament hereby revoking and making void all former wills by me at any time made.
First I direct that all my debts be paid as soon as possible and for the purpose of enabling my Executors to pay my debts I direct that my tract of land be sold by them to highest bidder on the folloing terms viz. Three hundred dollars to be due on the 25th December 1842 the balance to be due on the 25th December 1843. My Executors to retain a lean on the Land untill the purchase Money be paid my perishable property so much of it to be sold as my wife can well spare her being the Judge of that –
Secondly the balance of my estate after paying my debts. I give and bequeath to my wife Elizabeth.
Lastly I do hereby nominate and appoint my Brother Thomas McAfee my Executor and my wife Elizabeth my Executor of this my last will and testament. In witness whereof I do to this my will set my hand seal this the 13th day of November 1841.

Elisha McAfee’s Will (1848)
My will is that after my death and Burial expences and all my just debts is paid I want Nabe and Carrel MCAFEE to have a Bed and Stead and Bed Clothes with them apiece and after that I want my daughter Margaret to have all the rest of my household property I want all of my perishable property that is on the place to be equally Divided between them when the think fit that is Nabe and Carrel and Margaret MCAFEE I want my Daughter Jane CLYMORE to have twenty dollards in Cash and I want her to have my saddle I want my son Redder to have one share of my Land that I Bought of the older children So that he is not to take any more of the cleared Ground the Ballance that I Bought to be decided Between Nabe and Carrel and Margaret MCAFEE Equal
I appoint Nabe M. MCAFEE My Executor to my will
