I Brittain H. FOREST do make and publish this as my last will and testament hereby revoking and makeing void all other wills by me at any other time made
First I direct that my funeral Expenes and all my debts be paid as soon after my death as possible out of any money that I may die possessed of or my first come into the hands of may Executors and Executrix
Secondly I will and bequeath to my beloved wife Roda E. FORREST all my Estate both real and personal after my debts is paid for the benefit of her and her children during her natural life or widowhood but in case of her death that the property be equally divided between my Children but if my wife Roda E. FORREST should marry it is my will that there shall be a Guardian appointed forthwith for my Children and property both real and personal to be equally divided between my Children and my wife allowing my wife a Childs part.
It is my will that my Executrix give no security,
Lastly I do hereby nominate and appoint my wife Roda E. FORREST and James W. MINTON my Executrix and Executor In witness whereof I do to this my last will set my hand and seal this 15th day of July A.D. 1848

Personally appeared in open Court Joseph B. FULTON and John SHEFFIELD subscribing witnesses to the within will who being first sworn here in open Court proved the due Execution of said will as the Law directs It is therefore ordered by the Court that said will be entered of Record
