To beloved wife, Jane…”tract of land and farm whereon I now live…for her exclusive use…”- furniture, livestock, farm tools, grain. The slave, Doctor, and some horse and cattle, be sold to pay debts.
Also to wife, land purchased from Green and Cruse, and the tract adjoining Billington; four slaves – Jack (aged about twenty-four), Nancy (aged about twenty-seven) and children of Nancy — Sally, aged ten; and Brown, aged six. Remaining slaves be divided into eight equal shares, Part of land may be sold, if necessary to pay debts.
