Riverview Cemetery

     The Riverview cemetery is located 1 1/2 miles from Loudon, Tennessee, on Fork Creek
Road.  The first interment was made around 1840,  while the city of Loudon was a trading
post.  Several Cherokee Indians are suppose to be buried here.   During the Civil War
soldiers of both Confederate and Union Armies were buried in this Cemetery.  In 1928 it
was incorporated as the Riverside Cemetery, and is one of the most beautiful locations
anywhere overlooking the Tennessee River.  There are 295 unmarked graves.  Copied by
