DAVIS CEMETERY
The Davis Graveyard is 8 miles from Loudon, Tenn. Go out Vonore
Highway, 3 miles, turn to left at Brown's corner for 2 miles until you
come to the Davis brick school house, then turn to left on Davis Ferry
Road about 3 miles north, near the river turn to left and then there is a
rocked road to graveyard about 50 feet from main road. This big farm
belonged to Chas. Davis. In 1935, after his death, the farm was sold in
small farms to different people. The William Brothers, now own where the
graveyard is. There are 53 unmarked graves 93 records. Copied by

Directions: From the intersection in Lenoir City where Highway US 11
and US 321 intersect, travel across Ft Loudon Dam for 1.7 miles from
the intersection. There, State Highway 444 exits to the right. Follow
State highway 444 past Tellico Dam for 4.7 miles.
Cayuga Drive 8001 turns to the left into subdivision Tommotley Shores.
The subdivision road turns left and there is a gravel road straight
ahead. Go straight ahead to the top of the hill. There the cemetery
is visible below about .1 mile.
There are approximately 300 stones and 53 unmarked graves.. Copied
