Barbara J. Nixon, of Wheelersburg, Ohio, formerly of Hohenwald, passed away on September 20, 2020. She was born December 24, 1938.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Whorley; mother, Euva Whorley-Barnett; brothers, Ray Whorley, Ricky Barnett and Ronald Barnett; sons, Curtis F. Skeens, Philip Skeens; and husbands, Curtis Skeens and John Nixon.

She is survived by two sisters, Wanda Carroll and Linda Whorley, of Hohenwald; one daughter, Anita Skeens of Wheelersburg, Ohio; grandson, Zach Skeens; granddaughter, Tammy Tofte; great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousin.
