Sarah Jane Barber McCoy was born on February 11, 1948 in the Beaverdam Community of Hickman County. She passed away on October 10, 2020 in Nashville, Tennessee. She was 72 years old.

She is the daughter of the late Roy Meeks Barber and Mary Kathryn Johnston Barber.

She is survived by her husband Bobby Charles McCoy of Centerville. Sons Stephen Charles McCoy (Cristina) of Nunnelly and Damon McCoy (Jennifer) of the Grays Bend Community. Daughter Suzanne McCoy Lewis (Michael) of Pinewood. Grandchildren Kathryn, Hunter, Paige, JonMichael, and Courtney. Great Grandchild Veronica Mae Golden. Sister Helen Hicks (William) of Coble. Brother Keith Barber (Donna) of Beaverdam. Along with many other relatives, friends, and loved ones.

Mrs. McCoy was a member of the Defeated Creek Church of Christ.

Visitation will be held 12 October 2020 from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM  at McDonald Funeral Home – Hickman Co.  Funeral services will be conducted on 13 October 2020, at 2:00 PM in the McDonald Funeral Home Chapel – Hickman Co.  Burial will be at Chessor Cemetery, Centerville, TN
