Franklin Buchanan Williams was born in 1854 in Lewis County, he is the son of Fenner J. Williams and Sarah Ann Whitehead. He died March 11, 1907 I believe but not sure in Lewis County.

Franklin Buchanan Williams married first -Miriam Jane Kutch 1/6/1878, Wayne Co. TN., daughter of Solomon Kutch & Elizabeth McBride. Their children were
(1) Solomon Fenner Williams, 11/7/1878, (Salem Church records, Lewis Co); d-5/22/1961 Gibson Co. TN;
(2) James Julian Williams, 7/21/1880, Hohenwald, Lewis Co.; d-8/8/1932, Arkoma, OK;
(3) Edward Eurastis Williams 7/12/1882, Lewis Co. d-8/10/1956 Gibson Co. TN;
(4) Daniel Francis Williams 8/18/1883. Lewis Co. (no other info)
Franklin Buchanan Williams married second Martha Evaline Vandiver on June 10, 1888 in Lewis Co. TN. Their children were

(7) Manard Alfred Williams, 1/13/1896, TN. (Franklin B. was on 1860 census in Wayne Co.)

I also research the Williams line, my father is descended from Franklin Buchanan Williams and Miriam Jane Kutch by their son James Julian Williams.

My father got me interested in our family heritage but some of my fathers siblings, anyway what are left, are panicked by what we might dig up, tried to explain to them the long ago past can’t hurt them that past is already done.
Since the passing of my father and husband I have little interest in going further, but I do because my granddaughter is showing interest in her family line.
I have never seen these pictures before. I will need to get a copy for my files. I keep hard copies due to fact computers crash.
