Mary Cindy Bates, of Centerville, was born June 12, 1954, to the late Odie and Evelyn Cannon Bates, and died April 21, 2023, at Maury Regional Medical Center at the age of 68 years.

Ms. Bates is survived by her son, Thomas Jefferey Rochelle and her sister, Betty Bates.

Ms. Bates worked for many years with the Internal Revenue Service.
