WHALEN
I am searching for information on Guy WHALEN born in Tennessee about 1934. He was in the military, Air force, I believe, and was either stationed in or around Memphis or was on leave there in September 1953 when he was about 20 years old. If this gent is living, he would be about 70 years old. He has proven to be my impenetrable brick wall. If you have information on him or his descendants, please, contact me. A big thank you from a frustrated genealogist!

WILLIAMS
Inquiring about a Moses Williams that left the area around 1829/29 and traveled to Texas to claim property offered by the Mexican government. I’m sure he was part of the “Nashville Company”, a group of families connected to Col. Sterling C. Robertson. Robertson and Stephen F. Austin recruited many families from TN to go and claim land.
