ALEXANDER CAMPBELL, ISABELLA CAMPBELL CHISHOLM, THOMAS J. KEESE
The above surnames were in the county in 1820 & 1830. Alexander CAMPBELL died there 1847, his widow,Isabella married John CHISHOLM when she was 70 years old and she died in 1852. Thomas J. KEESE, by 1840 had moved to Texas with his wife,Eleanor CAMPBELL KEESE to settle a sizable estate of her brother,James CAMPBELL, who was killed by Indians. Anyone have info on Alexander or Isabella? I am trying to find out names of the parents of William James Crews born in 1861 in Lawrence County, Tennessee. He ran away at the age of twelve and moved to Henderson County, Tennessee where he later married Mary Elizabeth Benson.
