GLASS
William V. Glass lived in Lawrence County. Two of his children married into the Coffman family in the same county. Both of these children came to Texas. I would be interested to know where William V. Glass came from into the County and who his parents were. Does the V. stand for Van, as some as suggested. On another query board there are Glasses that marry Vincent’s. Is this one of them?

LIZZIE BURLISON / TJ BURNES
Am trying to find info on Lizzie Burlison and TJ Burnes who were married in April 1900 at Lawrence County. In 1898 there was a Sarah Lizzie Bell that may have been married to Dossie Burlison, but research on this is inconclusive. A marriage certificate was issued, but may have not been used. Two years later in April 1900, a Lizzie Burlison married a TJ Burnes. Am trying to determine if Sarah Lizzie Bell Burlison and Lizzie Burlison Burnes are the same individual. GREEN, PRICE, MORRIS
Looking for info and a connection between the GREEN and PRICE families in Lawrence Co, TN. Daniel Price Green b 1830-1840. Married Virginia/Jennie MORRIS b 1840ish. Both possibly from Lawrence Co, originally. Daniel and Jennie had three sons, Sterling Price, George F. and Charles W Green. All three probably born in Texas. Obviously, the name of Price was important to this family, so we feel there has to be a connection, possibly in the generation before Daniel. Thanks

SCHADE
My maternal grandmother’s name was Catherine SCHADE, born in 1895. Her parents were Charles Clemens SCHADE and Anne (WARNER) SCHADE. Charles Clemens SCHADE was a judge in Lawrence County somewhere around the 1920’s or 1930’s. He is listed in a book of Prominent Tennesseans. His parents were John and Christine (Zeigler) SCHADE. John’s father was George SCHADE. That’s all I know. Can anyone help me fill in some of the holes? Thanks!

MONTGOMERY
I am looking for the ancestors of Peter H. Montgomery. According to his death certificate and his military records he was born July 29, 1834 in Lawrence Co., TN. The census records of later years indicate that his father was born in Tennessee and that his mother was born in Georgia; however, there is also an indication that his mother was born in North Carolina and Tennesse. Peter married Catherine McBee in Polk Co., MO on November 5, 1857. Peter moved to Newton Co., MO in the mid 1860’s Thomas Montgomery, born 1790-1800, died about 1840 in Lawrence Co., Tn. sp. Elizabeth ?, born about 1790, I believe she died in Green County, Missouri. She is in the 1860 Greene County Census. Children: 1. David J. Montgomery, born 1815-1820 married Martha McHughs Aug 23, 1840 in Lawrence Co., TN 2. William C.
