I am currently researching my Grandparents, Lucille BUSBY, she was also related to the SPRINGERS. Lucille’s Father’s name was Paul Jones BUSBY, mostly known as PJ BUSBY. Lucille BUSBY married Haggard COKER/COCKER, in Lawrenceburg, TN. I do not have the marriage date. But my Grandfather died in 1972 and my Grandmother died in 1985. I am looking for information on the Robinson family. Their daughter Sarah Ida was orphaned as a baby due to their death. She was adopted by John S. Wilson and wife. If any knows any thing about this family I need the information. I would like to know their names and where they are buried. Ida was born in 1877. Her adoption records have been found but they do not list her parents. Only that they are dead. She was adopted in Lawrence Co. I would like any information I might find on Mamie (Richardson)Hardiman and Marvin Hardiman of Lawrence Co. I am looking for any information on the parents of William Van Glass or Elizabeth White. William Van Glass was born in 1818 in Alabama. Elizabeth White was born 1825 in Appleton, TN. The couple was married in Appleton on Dec. 14th, 1840. William Van Glass died Oct. 18, 1876 in Appleton. They had 4 children: Thomas Jefferson, George William, Maneriva, and Margaret. CANTRELL, FRY, FRYE
Hello, I am Dr. Richard Cantrell and I was raised in Albany, Georgia. I was born in 1954 and my father was James Howard Cantrell. He was born in March 1915 or 1916, probably in Tennessee, his father was Marion CANTRELL. He supposedly was married to a Cherokee Indian, last name FRYE or FRY. As both grandparents passed on prior to my birth and my father spoke little of them except of his Indian heritage, I have little to go on. I know that my Grandparents were married in Tennessee probably at the turn of the century give or take ten years but I don’t know the county or anything like that and I know that the Cantrell’s came to Tennessee from Georgia or South Carolina.
