[Note: A poll tax was levied on every male person in a household of legal voting age of 21. If the poll tax was not paid, then the person could not vote. In many areas, the money generated from this was used for school funds. Order of information listed is name, status, number of people, amount of tax. Most of the status info in parenthesis is easily understood, but incase you are not familiar with words used in old documents, Do means ditto.]
