GENERAL OLDHAM ANSWERS LAST CALL–General OLDHAM was taken ill with a severe cold three weeks ago, which developed into pneumonia, resulting in his death Sunday about noon. He was born in Henning 87 years ago, and resided in the county all his life. When the Civil War broke out, he was fired with enthusiasm for the cause of the Confederacy and listed as a private in Co. M, Seventh Cavalry, under the command of Col. William DUCKWORTH. He is survived by one son, Edward L. OLDHAM, of Cleveland, Ohio, and his wife, who before the marriage was Miss Daisy SCOTT, of Henning. His first wife was Miss Mattie Lindsey BACON. Interment was in Maplewood Cemetery.
