(Dyersburg Gazette) FORMER RESIDENT KILLED–Horace DANIELS, auto mechanic, was killed early Wednesday morning at the home of his divorced wife’s parents near Jackson. DANIELS, it is said, was intoxicated and went to the home at 2 a. m. and demanded that his wife come out in the yard and when she refused he tried to force his way in. She fired one shot which struck him in the breast, killing him instantly. Mr. DANIELS was 35, his wife 33, and the couple had one child, aged 15. Mrs. DANIELS was granted a divorce in December 1929, on grounds of inhuman treatment.
