DEATH–Wednesday afternoon, March 23, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. R. O. CUPP, the soul of one of the sweetest and dearest of God’s gentlewomen, Mrs. Newton A. BRYANT, went to rest. After years of patient suffering, the dear body is relieved of pain. For several days she was critically ill. All that kind and loving hands could do to relieve the suffering was done. She was so grateful for every kindness. She smiled her appreciation to the ministering ones after she was too weak to whisper words of thanks. He and two daughters, Mrs. R. O. CUPP and Mrs. Gid WILSON, and twelve grandchildren survive her. Mrs. BRYANT was a member of the Crittendon Grove Presbyterian Church. Services were conducted by Rev. TAYLOR & Elder COPELAND at the CUPP home Thursday morning, and the body was carried to Union City for interment.
