LOCALS–The many friends here of Major Albert ALEXANDER, now stationed in Manila, deeply sympathize with him and his family in the loss of his son, Lieut. Albert L. ALEXANDER, who was burned to death when the Army plane he was piloting crashed from a low altitude at Chunate Field at Rantoul, Ill. A message from Major ALEXANDER stated that the interment would be in Arlington National Cemetery. Lieut. ALEXANDER is a grandson of Mrs. M. D. MAJORS, of Citronelle, Ala., who has a host of friends in Tennessee, who are grieved to learn of the death of her grandson.
