The following records were taken from the Bible of Frederick Barfield (b. April 8, 1818 – d. November 19, 1875) Lauderdale County, Tennessee.

This Bible was formerly in the possession of Mary Maud Barfield Webkes. It is currently (1999) in the possession of Margaret Barfield Rucker of Jackson, Tennessee, who is a great-granddaughter of Frederick Barfield.
