Funeral services were held Saturday,April 4,1998, at the Humphreys County Funeral Home for William E. Dailey of Waverly. Mr. Dailey, 72, died April 2. Lee Brown officiated the service, with internment at Wyly Cemetery. Arrangements were made by the Humphreys County Funeral Home.

Mr. Dailey was born in Humphreys County. He was a veteran and member of Waverly United Methodist Church and American Legion. Mr. Dailey was the son of the late Hyman and Mary Jane Curtis Dailey. He was married to Ann Tibbs Dailey of Waverly.

Survivors, in addition to his wife, include nephew Terry Dailey of Clarksville;and niece Teresa White of Clarksville.
