Funeral services were held on Friday, October 10, 1986, at Luff-Bowen for Mrs. Gracie L. Clements of McEwen. Mrs. Clements, age 79, died Wednesday, October 8,1986 after an extended illness.

Rev. Gerald Sexton of the Assembly of God in Dyersburg officiated at the graveside service in Dyersburg, Tennessee. Luff- Bowen Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

She was born in Humphreys County and lived here the first sixteen years of her life.She lived in Dyersburg, Tennessee until two and a half years ago, before returning to Humphreys County. She was a retired co-owner of Clement Restaurant in Finley, Tennessee.She was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Dyersburg. She was the daughter of the late David Frank (Tink) Buchanan and the late Mollie Batton.She was the wife of the late Hugh H. Clements. Survivors include brothers- Mr. Samuel P. Buchanan of Montgomery, Ala., Mr. David (Petie) Buchanan– Waverly, Tenn., Mr. Howard D. Buchanan-Memphis, Tenn., Mr. Wilson Dean Buchanan– Henderson, Ky. and sisters Mrs. Flossie Hicks– Waverly,Tenn., Mrs. Nancy Farrar – Nashville, Tenn.,Mrs. Goldie Claude – Waverly, Tenn.,Mrs. Ludie Headrick– McEwen,Tenn., and Mrs. Ruth Crowell – Lynchburg, Va. D.
